David Tesdahl Obituary
Marion
David Lee Tesdahl, 78, of Marion, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Per his wishes, he was cremated.
David was born on May 20, 1947, in Boone, Iowa. He obtained his associate's degree from Orange Coast College in California. David then served in the United States Marine Corps, until 1971. On October 25, 1997, David was united in marriage to Catherine Marie Madden.
David was a man of deep faith and unwavering pride in his Norwegian heritage. David's life was marked by devotion to God, immersing himself in scripture and actively participating in numerous Bible studies, including Bible Study Fellowship. He enjoyed watching sports and local and national news. He was honored to be a part of the local Honor Flight, which he will cherish forever.
David is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Catherine Tesdahl; sister; nephew; and other extended family.
