Ricky Lane Sutterfield, aged 65, of Conway, peacefully departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 6, to be reunited with his heavenly father. He was born on July 8, 1958, in Conway to the late John and Willie Sutterfield. He is preceded in death by his sister, Deloris "Jo" Tew; as well as his brothers, Larry Sutterfield and Jimmy Sutterfield.
Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Peggy; his sons, Andy Sutterfield (Janele) and Dustin Sutterfield (Elizabeth); his daughter, Whitney Ruple (Nick); his stepson, Jeremy Ventress (Amber); and a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, he leaves behind nieces, Betty Etzberger (Shane) and Penny Williams (Carl); as well as nephews, Danny Tew, Terry Tew (Debi); and not to be forgotten is his ex-wife and mother of his children, Kim Sutterfield.
Rick was known for his ability to find humor in everyday occurrences and his infectious laughter. A true automotive enthusiast, with a particular passion for street car racing, he enjoyed the intricacies of working on engines. His loved ones remember him fondly, and his absence will be keenly felt. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal services held, and the handling of his remains will be entrusted to Arkansas Cremation.
