Gregory Bammerlin Obituary

Gregory E. Bammerlin, age 75, of Mills, NE, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 18, 2024.

He is survived by his daughters, Chera Sisson and husband Jeff of Ainsworth, NE, Chana Orton and husband Jason of Mills, and Alicia Bammerlin and husband Bob Schieffer of Boelus, NE; grandchildren, Caitlin Orton of Grand Island, NE, Raden Orton of Mills, and Gracyn and Tygan Sisson of Ainsworth; best friend and partner, Becky Fischer of Rapid City, SD; brother, Dennis Bammerlin of Millboro, SD; mother-in-law, Kaye Carr of Springview, NE; brother-in-law Dennis Carr and wife Barbara of Sleepy Hollow, NY; sisters-in-law, Becky Finegan and husband Jack of Hot Springs Village, AR, and Julie Foster of Broken Bow, NE; nieces, Lori Bammerlin of Manhattan, KS, Lyndsey Porter and husband Travis of York, NE, and Sarah Finegan of San Diego, CA; nephews, Preston Foster of Broken Bow and Joe Finegan and wife Megan of Lincoln, NE; mother of his children, Teresa Bammerlin of Mills; neighbors, friends, and extended family.
Gregory was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margory Bammerlin; father-in-law, Howard Carr; and brother-in-law, Kevin Foster.

Per Greg’s request, there will be no funeral, memorial service, or formal obituary. His ashes were buried on his ranch on June 15, 2024. Memorials may be made to the family for future designation. Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth assisted with the arrangements.
