Lisa Cantwell Obituary

Lisa Cantwell
December 19, 1981 - July 18, 2024
In Loving Memory of Lisa Christine CantwellIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Cantwell, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, who left us on 18 July, 2024. She was 42 years old.
Lisa was born on 19 December, 1981 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. She grew up an Air Force brat who lives in San Antonio, Del Rio, Misawa Air Base Japan, Soesterberg Netherlands. After graduation from Cotulla High School, she moved to Anchorage Alaska, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work for the University of Alaska Anchorage. From an early age, she paved her own way in life and had impact in Alaska and North Carolina before finally settling down and starting a family of her own in San Antonio. She was renowned for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her animals, plants, family and friends, and of course, her restaurant reviews.
Always a devoted wife, Lisa was the pillar of strength and love for her husband, Brian. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Her presence brought warmth and light to every moment they shared.
As a mother, Lisa was devoted to her children and an incredible advocate for adolescent special needs. She leaves behind Brandon (22 Years Old), Brody (7 Years Old), and Cadence (5 Years Old), who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Her children were her pride and joy, and she dedicated herself to ensuring they grew up surrounded by love and support.
Lisa had a passion for her plants and animals of all sorts. Among these were her cats: Haden, Shelby, Felix, and Kenshi. Her dogs; Maverick, Biscotti, Athena, Makenna, and Charro – her foster adoption. She was also an ardent member of multiple plumeria groups and held a special place in many online forums. Her friends and family will remember her for her infectious smile, her boundless energy, and her ability to make everyone feel special.
She is survived by her Mother - Clara Garza, Father - Oscar Garza, and Brother - Micheal Garza, Son – Brandon, Son – Brody, and Daughter – Cadence.
Lisa's presence touched the lives of so many, and her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
