Anita Doty Obituary

Anita G. Doty, 37, of Circleville, passed away on February 28, 2026. She was born on August 26, 1988 in Columbus. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Doty; step-dad, Raymond Giffin; grandparents, Anita Doty, Mildred Mills and several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her spouse, Charles Carey; mother, Darlena Giffin; sisters, Kathy (Marion) Giffin, Erica Doty and Rachel Doty and Taylor Certain; brother, Joseph Stapleton; special nephews, Andrew Ramey, Cameron Schreck, Carson Salyers, Braylen Certain and Kason Giffin; nieces and nephews, Makenzie, Makaila and Kaden Giffin, Izzy Tipton, Lilly Lintz, Kallie and Chad Doty. Anita loved spending time with her family. She was always the life of the party. She was never one to miss a last call or a good laugh. She taught us how to toast to the good times. She loved nothing more than sharing a drink with her favorite people. She brought so much joy to our family and laughter where ever she went. Though our time together was far too short, the love she gave will remain with all of us forever. She'll be missed dearly by all her family and friends. Funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. Monday March 9, 2026 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 3-5 p.m. on Monday.
