I was saddened to read of John´s passing. We were good friends in high school. There was an openness, honesty, and vulnerability in our conversations. We were two young men trying to make our way in the world. We so enjoyed each other´s company. I cherish the bond we had and for the kindness John showed me. I send my love to John´s sisters, Carol and Mary.

John, you have made your final flight into the wild blue yonder´s. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Have a smooth flight.

Cousin John....I know that you´re at peace now and reunited with sis and mom & dad.
