Yolanda Greenwood Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crawford Family Funeral & Cremation Service - Edmond on Mar. 8, 2026.
Yolanda M. Greenwood, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, at her home in Mannford, OK. She was the beloved wife of Randall C. Greenwood.

November 17, 1946, Yolanda was born and raised in Newton, Kansas. She was the daughter of the late Theadore Wilcox and Luze Wilcox Clark. At a young age, Yolanda became the devoted mother of two children, Vincent "Greg" and Charlinda "Charlie", she worked hard and selflessly to provide them with a happy and loving life. Succeeding the premature passing of her mother, Yolanda raised her two younger brothers, exemplifying her devotion to family and benevolence. After living many years in Salina, Kansas, she moved to Edmond, Oklahoma where she enjoyed her career at Journal Record Publishing Company. She happened to be working in the Journal Record building on the day the tragic 1995 Oklahoma City bombing occurred, which prompted her to move to Mannford and begin a wonderful 30-year marriage to Clay Greenwood.

Yolanda's dedication to her family, friends, and work reflected the diligence, compassion, and generosity she shared with everyone who knew her. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping; many stores and shopping malls became places of enjoyment for her. Beyond adding to her own wardrobe, she especially loved giving gifts and sharing her joy with the people in her life.

Above all, Yolanda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She leaves behind husband Clay Greenwood of Mannford, OK; her daughter, Charlinda M. Wallar of Edmond, OK, son-in-law, Donald Ja Wallar, and daughter-in-law Jane McLain. She is also survived by her brother, Mark Clark and sister-in-law Salli Clark of Sand Springs, OK, as well as twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren who will continue to carry her memory forward. Known lovingly as "BomBom" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she will forever be in their hearts. Her grandchildren and spouses include Megan and Stephen McNaught, Madison Wallar, Morgan J. and Morgan R. Larsen, Makayla Wallar, Vinnie McLain, Sarah McLain. The vibrant great-grandchildren who brought a spark to her heart are Sully, Eisley, Zavey, and Lovely Wallar; Rhodes and Ferris McNaught; and, Rune Larsen.

Yolanda also is survived by her loving step-daughters and their families Lisa and Brian West, their children Clara, Emily, and Hannah of Keller, TX; Michelle and Tom Mullen, their children Hunter, Riley, and Anabelle of Columbus, GA. Surviving nieces and nephews are Brian Clark and family of Salina, KS; Brandee Hutchins and family of Topeka, KS; Adam Clark and family; and Danyel Roede and family.

In addition to her parents, Yolanda was predeceased in death by her son, Vincent Gregory McLain, and her brother, Phillip Clark.

Yolanda will be remembered for her sparkling and outgoing personality, her warm spirit, and the lifelong love she shared with her family. As a devoted and loving matriarch, her legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.

Raoul and Isabelle Del Castillo

March 10, 2026

To the family of Yolanda, we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Yolanda was a wonderful beautiful niece. I met Yolanda when she was 10 years old. We had lots of fun together as I was only 15 years old. I was dating her uncle Raoul for three years and then married him in 1959. Yolanda lived couple of houses from us in their new home. She moved out of state (Kansas) and to Oklahoma. We would of loved to attend this, but her Uncle Raoul had an accident in Dec. 2024 and had three brain bleeds. He has somewhat recovered but is unable to work. You have our deepest
condolences and prayers as she will always live in our hearts. May God comfort all of you in this time of sorrow and grant you many blessings.
