Wendy Kazman Obituary

Wendy Helene Kazman, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, after a courageous 4½-year battle with cancer marked by resilience, grace, and many moments of hope and miracle.

Wendy was born on July 24, 1960, in Abington, Pennsylvania. She spent her early childhood in Willow Grove, PA, where she formed joyful family memories that remained close to her heart throughout her life. She later graduated from high school in Canton, Pennsylvania, and went on to earn her degree in Occupational Therapy from Utica College.

Wendy devoted her professional life to caring for others, practicing occupational therapy in both Pittsburgh, Blue Bell, and Pennsburg. Her work reflected who she was at her core—a deeply compassionate, patient, and creative spirit who found profound meaning in helping young children develop independence, confidence, and the skills to navigate their world.

Creativity and nurturing were central to Wendy’s life. She was an accomplished quilter whose beautiful work was exhibited at shows, each piece reflecting her artistry and attention to detail. She also found great joy in gardening, lovingly designing and tending the extensive gardens and landscaping around her home in Pennsburg, transforming her surroundings into places of beauty and calm.

Wendy had an especially tender heart for animals, particularly dogs. She rescued multiple dogs and cats from shelters and rescue organizations, providing them with loving homes and devoted care. Her compassion for animals was unwavering and a defining part of her life.

Wendy was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Kazman. She is survived by her loving mother, Sandra Kazman; her brother, William Kazman; and her sister, Karen Kazman, along with extended family and many friends who will miss her deeply.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 1:30 PM precisely, Shalom Memorial Park (Section David), 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wendy’s memory to a pet rescue organization of your choice, or to Long Dogs and Friends Rescue, an organization Wendy loved and supported: https://www.longdogsrescue.org/donate

Wendy will be remembered for her beauty of spirit, her creativity, her compassion, and the quiet, enduring love she gave to all those—human and animal alike—who were fortunate enough to be in her care.
