Tommy Allen, born on January 5, 1947, in Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Tommy was known for his steadfast dedication to family and passion for education and service.

After working diligently to pay his own way through college, Tommy embarked a fulfilling career as a railroad engineer. His commitment to his work and the value he placed on education also led him to spend several years teaching, where he inspired many with knowledge and common sense. Tommy’s noble service in the U.S. Army as part of the Judge Advocate General's Corps exemplified his commitment to justice and the country he loved. Tommy's dedication went above and beyond as he also served as a private attorney, both on base during his time in the Army and locally in Cleburne, Texas.

Tommy had a zest for life that was reflected in his love for traveling and gardening. He cherished moments spent with his animals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Billie Allen, his brother, Freddie Allen, and his sister, Nancy Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Allen; his daughter Amy Rich; his grandchildren, Jaden Smith and husband Wes, Bailey Carlock and fiancé Mason Quinn; his great-grandchildren, Rylan and Jax; his sister-law, Lynda Allen, and host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tommy's light will forever shine in the hearts of those who loved him and he will be remembered with great affection.
