Raymond Rodriguez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Klecatsky & Sons Funeral Homes-West Chapel - West Saint Paul on Mar. 11, 2026.
Raymond Michael Rodriguez, age 61, passed away peacefully at his home. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and spent his entire life living in West St. Paul, a community he proudly called home.

Raymond dedicated 31 years of his life to the United States Postal Service, where he worked as a postal clerk. He was known for his strong work ethic and dependability.

A man of deep emotion, compassion, and heart, Raymond held an unwavering respect for his family. Family meant everything to him, and he lived his life with loyalty, pride, and honor. Nothing brought him more happiness or fulfillment than his two sons, Mario and Jaymes. He was incredibly proud of them and often spoke of how they were the greatest joy of his life.

Raymond found joy in the things that truly reflected who he was; spending time on the golf course, his longtime admiration for Michael Jordan, and his love of collecting shoes- especially Nike! He also took great pride in his Pontiac Firebird, a car he loved dearly and enjoyed showing off whenever he could.

Raymond leaves behind his beloved sons, Mario (Meredith) and Jaymes (Elizabeth); his loving mother, Ramona; and his siblings, Shelly (Tim) and Robert (Vida) as well as several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Raymond will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty, and the deep respect and love he held for his family. His legacy lives on through his sons and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered - especially by those who knew him best as "Ray the Blade."

A memorial Mass will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 401 Concord Street, St. Paul. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass, with private inurnment following the luncheon.

Floral tributes may be sent to the church.
