Peter Valentine Obituary

Peter Noone Valentine passed away peacefully at home on November 24, 2024. He was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a resident of Ponte Vedra Beach since 1994. Born on April 14, 1945, he was the son of the late Louis Everett Valentine and Hazel Noone Valentine. Pete was the seventh child and was proudly spoiled by his family and his neighborhood Ortega community. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and received his business degree from Florida State University. Pete had a long and successful career with ConAgra Foods, Inc.
Pete was an extremely proud and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He met Veronica, his wife of 56 years, in college and she immediately became his best friend for life. His greatest sources of pride were his two children and his five grandchildren with whom he cherished each day. Surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and family dogs (Mindy, Brandi, Pepper, and Abi), is where Pete found his greatest source of happiness and peace. Surviving members of his family are his wife, Veronica; daughter, Amy; son, Peter Noone, Jr.; grandsons, Quentin Valentine (Patty) and David Beliakoff; granddaughters, Lauren Valentine, Reagan Beliakoff, and Carson Beliakoff. Pete is also survived by his sisters, Edith Valentine, and Raney (Lee) Colvill along with many nieces and nephews. His brother, Louis, and his sisters, Jean Anderson, Pam Pattee and Louise Goins predeceased him. Pete was honored through Big Brothers Big Sisters to have a "little brother," Sean McAfee (Theresa), who became another major source of pride and happiness throughout his life.
In accordance with his wishes, the immediate family will hold a private service at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery.
