Mabelean Harris Obituary

Mabelean W. Harris was born February 03, 1947 in Pitt County to the late Willie James Wooten and Velmalean Miller Wooten. She departed this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.

Mabelean grew up in the Bruce Falkland community and attended Pitt County Public Schools. She was self-employed and loved her work.

Mabelean always put God first, loved her family, friends and her flowers. Family gatherings were her favorite and something she always looked forward to and enjoyed. Her favorite color was purple.

Mabelean was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Willie Jr., Phyllis and Johnnie.

Mabelean leaves to cherish her memories her husband, David Earl Harris; her children, Tammy, Carlton, Bridget and Shawn; seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter who she loved dearly; her siblings, Willie (Cathy), Minnie (Bobby), Edward (Saundra), Margie (Donald) and David; her aunts, Irene, Caristine, Annie and Annie Bell; one uncle, Charles; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, family and special friends.
