Survivors include a sister, Betty Watts of Marionville, Missouri; one son, Daniel Scoville and wife, Phyllis of Rogers, Arkansas; one daughter, Janet Sieger and husband, Charles of Republic, Missouri; one grandson, Beau Scoville and wife, Stacie of Rogers, Arkansas; one granddaughter, Danelle Knight of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one great-grandson, Dalton Knight and one great-granddaughter, Jessica Knight; one great-great-granddaughter, Evelyn Scoville; and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.
Lura married Ben on Oct 6, 1947. They had a wonderful farm and country home southeast of Birch Tree, Missouri, where they lived their lives and raised their children.
Lura was the owner of Scoville Upholstery where her work was so admired she needed no advertising. Customers came from as far away as St. Louis. She was always busy, and no one minded waiting for her personal creative touch.
Lura enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, feeding hummingbirds in large flocks, and quilting. Her creative skills and perfectionism resulted in the most beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Birch Tree Town and Country Club. She was also a Girl Scout leader for many years. She enjoyed adventure and her camping skills were amazing.
Lura was a member of Pioneer Baptist Church in Birch Tree, Missouri, and was a great neighbor to all in the Banner community.
Lura will be deeply missed by so many. She lived to 93 years by embracing life and being determined to live it to the fullest.
