Dorothy L. "Dottie" Ambrosino (nee Cornish), 63 of Prospect Park died on October 7, 2025. She was born in Chester and lived in Delaware before moving to Prospect Park 15 years ago.

Dottie was a graduate of Ridley High School class of 1980 where she played on the basketball and field hockey teams. She was employed as a Service Driver for Wheat Services for the past three years and had previously worked for FedEx. Dottie attended The Church of St. Madeline and always enjoyed crafting, baking and cooking. She also loved traveling and play cornhole, but most important was being with her family.

She was predeceased by her brother David R. Cornish, Jr.

Dottie is survived by her loving companion Paul R. Loomis and his children Kristen Zimmerman (Daniel) and Branden Loomis, her mother Doris V. Cornish, her children Amy, Zachary and Kelly Ambrosino, her granddaughter McKenna Zimmerman, her sister Diane Darnell, also a niece, nephew and a great-niece.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM. Burial private.
