Donald Euwart Obituary

**Due to Inclement weather, the Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Blyth Funeral Home with visitation till 5:00 PM**

Donald "Donnie" William Euwart, 79, resident of Greenwood and husband of Donna Lee Wheeler Euwart, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Self Regional Healthcare.

Born October 22, 1946, in San Diego, CA, he was a son of the late Thomas Ewart and Jeanette Elizabeth Anderson White.

Donnie proudly served his country in the United States Army as a member of the 101st Airborne Division. He was a graduate of Judson High School and retired from Eversource Gas Company after many years of dedicated service.

An avid softball player, Donnie also enjoyed bowling, reading, and working puzzles. He was a devoted sports fan who especially loved Clemson and Boise State football and UConn women's basketball.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Donald "Don" William Euwart (Maureen) of Needham, Massachusetts; one daughter, Shelly Pettee (Brian) of Dover, New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Elizabeth and William Euwart, and Charlie and Graham Pettee; four sisters, Carrie McClendon (James) of Greenwood, Frances Gilliam (Sam) of Abbeville, Barbara Cole (Steve) of Greenville, and Sharon Belino of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, Scott Shirley (Kim) of Greenwood.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Joe Belino, and two nephews, Davis and Joey.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Blyth Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service till 5:00 PM.
