Osie Mae Bartlett's Story: It Is With Full Hearts That We Celebrate The Life Of Ms. Osie Mae Bartlett, Who Peacefully Transitioned From This Life On October 17, 2025, At The Age Of 86.
Born On December 17, 1938, In Marietta, Georgia, To The Late Ossie Jordan And Willie Bartlett. Osie Mae Was Raised In A Strong, Faith-Filled Southern Home Where The Words "God Will Provide" Were Both A Promise And A Way Of Life. That Faith Became The Foundation Upon Which She Built Her Strength, Her Family, And Her Unshakable Spirit.
Osie Mae Was Educated In The Marietta School System And Carried Herself With The Kind Of Dignity, Grace, And Confidence That Left A Lasting Impression On Everyone She Met. But Make No Mistake, She Was A Woman Who Stood Her Ground. Known For Her Boldness, Honesty, And Unwavering Strength, She Was Never Shy About Speaking Her Mind. She Said What She Meant And Meant What She Said, Always With Purpose, Always With Conviction.
A Proud And Devoted Mother, Osie Mae Raised Her Sons With Firm Love And Clear Direction. She Was The Loving Mother Of Kenneth (Darlene) Rogers (Deceased), Isaiah (Katrina) Scott, Roderick (Terri) Scott, And Gary Scott. Raising Boys Took A Strong Hand, And Osie Mae Didn't Waver. Osie Mae Demanded Respect, Discipline, And Integrity. Her Strength As A Mother Shaped Her Sons Into Men Who Reflect Her Courage, Her Resilience, And Her Unwavering Faith.
Beyond Osie Mae's Strength, She Was Known For Her Unmistakable Style And Grace. She Believed In Looking Her Best Wherever She Went, Polished, Proud, And Full Of Personality. She Had A Flair For Fashion That Was All Her Own. Purple Was Her Color, And She Wore It Like Royalty. Osie Mae Made Sure Every Detail Was Perfect. Her Outfits Weren't Just Clothes, They Were A Statement Of Confidence, Self-Respect, And Pride In Who She Was.
To Those Who Knew Her Best, Osie Mae Was The Definition Of Real. A Woman Who Took No Mess, Stood On Business, And Handled Life With Faith And Flair. She Could Be Stern When Needed, But Her Firmness Came From Love. She Carried Herself Like A Lady, Spoke Her Truth With Authority, And Made Sure Everyone Around Her Knew The Importance Of Standing Tall, Trusting God, And Walking With Pride.
Above All, Osie Mae Bartlett Was A Woman Of Faith, Family, And Fierce Determination. Her Legacy Is One Of Strength, Elegance, And Unbreakable Spirit. A Reminder That Beauty And Boldness Can Live In Perfect Harmony.
Though She Has Transitioned From This Life, The Spirit Of Ms. Osie Mae Bartlett Will Forever Shine Through Her Children, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, And Through Every Heart That Was Blessed To Know Her.
"Weeping may endure for the night, but joy comes with the morning." Psalm 30:5
