Charles Ross Obituary
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Louise Ross; son, Rowland Ross and his wife Julie; daughter, Polly-Anna Bath and her husband Ron, his grandchildren, April-Ann, Ronnie, Diana, Lilia and Jack and two great grandchildren, Vivian and Gavin; two brothers, Herbert Ross and Howard Ross, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Chuck was dedicated to family, friends, The Chester Seniors, and his railroad colleagues. He had a long career as a 3rd generation railroad employee beginning with Boston and Maine and retiring from Amtrak in the year 2000.
Chuck was the "go to guy" to fix things, take care of those who needed help and never expected anything in return.
He enjoyed his trips to Walt Disney World with family the most, chopped wood almost daily and hauled it with best buddy; his old tractor, "Lily Bell".
He will be remembered for his kind heart and amazing sense of humor.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH.
