ELIZABETH CITY, NC - Charles Frank Brown, born June 28, 1934, in the verdant landscapes of Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, in
Elizabeth City, North Carolina, at the age of 91.
Born to a humble sharecropper's family, Charles spent his early life both studying and working on the family farm.
