Catherine Dobson Obituary
After high school Cat started working as a waitress at Luigis in Fayetteville NC, before giving birth to her son, Jesse M. Adams. From that moment on, her son was the center of her universe, and she loved nothing more than being a mother. She spent every second of her life making sure she gave Jesse every opportunity she could. She worked many jobs in the many different cities she lived in. She had a passion for working with like-minded people in the service industry.
Cat was a big personality in a small package. She was a social butterfly and always made friends wherever she went. She was outgoing, fun, nurturing, adventorous, and passionate. She loved many things including; cooking, sports, and hanging out with friends and family. She was the type of friend that you would go to and never have to worry about being judged. She wore her heart on her sleeve and spoke her mind.
She is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Jesse (Samantha) Adams, her parents Charles (Claudia) Taylor, Phyllis (Melvin) Watson, and her siblings, Anthony Taylor, Stefani (Al) Alexander, Kimberly (Shane) Tacket, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Wake for Catherine Michelle Dobson will be held at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home on the 17th of February 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. at 436 W. James Lee BLVD. Crestview FL 32536.

We´ve come a long way since that first day of Kindergarten. There we were in the hallway at Gallberry Farms Elementary. I was standing infront of my son´s classroom (door closed) and there you were further down the hall standing infront of Jesse´s classroom. It took the principal to escort us both out. (Was our sobbing too loud?? )
We vented in the parking lot about how "rude" the principal was for keeping us away from our babies. Of course, later on, we both came back to earth and realized she was not rude and we may have been a little emotionally charged about the first day of school. It was then we both knew we were equal amounts of "crazy" when it came to our boys.
THEY ARE WONDERFUL HUMAN BEINGS!! We did it Cat!!!! WE DID IT!!!!
I miss talking to you, telling you things only you know. We have some talking to do when I get there, so you just find us a nice spot to hang out at...maybe a hockey game...or a porch somewhere...YOU PICK. Love you.
