Theodore James "Ted" Beauregard, 92, of Chicopee, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026. He passed into Eternal Life at The Arbors in Chicopee surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on March 13, 1934, a beloved son of Joseph and Rose Anna (Gagnon) Beauregard. He was raised and educated in Holyoke where he attended Holyoke High School. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War in the 25th Infantry Division, then went on to serve as an instructor with the 3rd Armor Division at Fort Knox, KY, and attained the rank of Sergeant. After the war, Ted went back to school and received his GED from Holyoke Trade High School to become a printer. From there, he went on to become a lithographer for Milton Bradley Corporation in East Longmeadow. After retiring from MB/Hasbro in 1999, he went on to a second career as the printer for The Big E. During both careers, Ted was known for his expertise, dedication, kindness, and humor. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved to cheer on the Red Sox, Bruins, and Patriots. He was a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church and a member of the Fairview Council 4044 Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post 438 and the Moose Family Center, all in Chicopee. Most of all, he was a loyal husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, and dependable friend to many. He was predeceased by his beloved wife and best friend of 55 years, Muriel Marie (Dupont) Beauregard who passed away on April 20, 2011. He leaves his loving and devoted sons, Allan T. Beauregard and his wife, Joanne, of Belchertown; Roger E. Beauregard and his partner, Joan Gloster of Hadley; Michael R. Beauregard and his wife, Diane, of Ludlow; Stephen P. Beauregard and his partner, Fusae Ogino of Avon, CT; his daughter-in-law, Lisa A. (Croteau) Beauregard of Chicopee; his dear brother, Roger F. Beauregard of Holyoke; his 11 cherished grandchildren: David Jr., Nicole, Katheline, Allyson, Amanda, Joshua, Christopher, Rebecca, Finn, André, and Nolan; his many great-grandchildren; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his eldest son, David Beauregard; and his five siblings, Joseph, Arthur, Doris, Eva, and Beatrice. His Funeral will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 594 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His Burial with United States Army Military Honors will follow the Mass at Saint Rose Cemetery, 226 Granby Road, South Hadley, MA 01075. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance of the funeral home are located in the rear at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family request that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Veterans' Home in Holyoke, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
