Martha Revis Obituary
Waynesville, Martha Cooper Revis, 81, passed away on July 8, 2024, at Mission Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Laura Gunter Cooper. She is the wife of the late James Bobby Revis who died in 2005. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Norman and a brother, Dewey Cooper, Jr.
Martha was employed by Haywood County Hospital as unit secretary for 28 plus years. She was of the Baptist faith.
Martha enjoyed hiking and traveling and going to horse shows. But most of all she loved her dogs and her grandchildren.
She leaves behind a loving daughter Damita Camero; a faithful son, Bobby Revis and his wife Becky; former son-in-law, Edward Camero; a brother, Jim Cooper and his wife Sharon; four grandchildren, Koleton Revis and his wife Amanda, McKenzie Clark and her husband Tranis, Damiana & Dawniella Camero; three great-grandchildren, Kayden, Zander and Lawson.
A graveside service to honor Martha’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Greenhill Cemetery with Reverend Kerry Lathrop officiating.
The care of Ms. Revis has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville
