February 15, 1935 - September 2, 2025

Duane J. Taylor, 90 of Bruce, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at his home on Amacoy Lake. He was born on February 15, 1935 in Cornell to Melvin & Mabel (Davis) Taylor.

He attended New Auburn schools and graduated in 1952. He then went on to college at UWEC and received a Bachelor's Degree in Arts & Science in 1956.

In 1957 Duane met and married Kathleen Krisik. Four children were born to this union; Dwight (Diana), Theresa (Don), Dean (Jenny) and Deanna (Steve), 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Mabel & Melvin Taylor and 1 grandson; Dustin.

Duane taught school in Bruce and Bloomer for 35 years. Throughout the years Duane was involved in many businesses, but his favorite was owning & operating Taylor's Amacoy Golf Course which is now run by his family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce. Burial will take place in Bloomer Cemetery.
