Winfred Cloyd July 15, 1952 - August 28, 2024
JONESBOROUGH - Mr. Winfred Wayne Cloyd "Wayne" age 72 passed away at his residence Wednesday August 28, 2024.
Mr. Cloyd was born in Washington County, Tennessee on July 15, 1952, to the late Ralph and Mary Cloyd. He was also preceded in death by his wife Gloria Cloyd and brother Phillip Cloyd.
Mr. Cloyd leaves behind his sons Robert Cloyd, and Alvin Cloyd; Sister Phyllis Crane;
Stepdaughter Kim Vance; Special friends Greg Constable and Lynn Davis.
Mr. Cloyd was a graduate of Jonesborough High School. He worked 30 years for the Washington County Highway Department. He was a Sign Department Forman at the time of his retirement.
He was an avid coon hunter for 50 years of his life. Mr. Cloyd was of Christian faith and was a member of the Central Christian Church in Jonesborough, TN.
