William Robert Hoosier March 30, 1932- May 11, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - William Robert Hoosier departed this life on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Ballad Johnson City Medical Center. He was born on March 30, 1932, in Clarksville, Tennessee, the only child of the late Jessie and Elnora Holland Hoosier.
The family will receive friends Thursday May 16, 2024 at 1 pm from Birchette Mortuary & Cremation Service Inc. Chapel of Love. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 24, 2024 at John Westley A.M.E. Zion Church in Washington DC, interment will follow at Ft Lincoln Cemetery Brentwood, MD.

Robert's Mom, Elnora Holland Hoosier, worked for my family 1940-1975. She was a dear person and was a second mother to me. I didn't know Robert well, but the last time i saw him was at either Elnora's or her sister, Martha's, funeral where doves were released.
