It is with deep sorrow that I hear of the passing of our dear professor Dr. William Gwaltney. We was a beloved teacher who taught more than just academics. His gentleness and kindness was immeasurable.

To the Rabi's family, words do not adequately express my gratitude to you for sharing him with me and the greater Milligan Community. I was blessed to have been taught 2nd year Hebrew one-on-one by the Rabi. It was an excellent learning opportunity and taught me to come clean when I needed more preparation, and the Rabi was always gracious and kind. I was so blessed by the Rabi and will cherish those moments and memories. My prayers are with his family and friends. - Shalom - Bob
