HAMPTON - On November 20, 2023, William Daniel "Danny" Cole, Hampton, walked through Heaven's gate straight into the arms of JESUS. There are no words to adequately describe the greatness of this man. He was his family's leader, provider, and protector. He was the hardest worker anyone ever met. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He never turned down an opportunity to help others. This world has never known a finer man. He was truly a gift to his family, the one we all went to for guidance. He was our world, and we will grieve for him until we are all together again in Heaven. He was truly his family's biggest blessing, and he will live on in our hearts. His memory will be cherished and honored forever. Danny loved the LORD and his family. His greatest joy was his two grandchildren that he loved with all his heart. He loved and adored his wife, Gwendolyn, with all his heart. She was the love of his life, and he was the love of hers. She was honored to be his wife and she loved him with an unspeakable adoration. He was a pillar of strength for his children who adored him and whom he adored. He is worthy of every good thing we could say about him, but words cannot express the greatness of this man. He was preceded in death by his loving father, William H. Cole. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Gwendolyn Dawn Cole; a loving son, Andrew Daniel Cole; a loving daughter, Amber Dawn Cole Cook and husband Justin Cook; two precious grandchildren: Tucker William Cole and Anna Gwendolyn Lee Cook; his loving mother Joyce Cole; sisters: Vivian Cole and husband, Benny; Gail Markland; Bobbie Chambers and husband, Ed; Brother James Cole; several nieces and nephews; a very special aunt Collene Hicks and a very special friend, Larry Tolley.
