Wilbur Woods Jr. departed this life April 11, 2025 at Ballad Johnson City Medical Center. The family will receive friends April 17, 2025 from 11am to 1:00pm at the Birchette Mortuary Chapel of Love.
Burial will follow at Highpoint Cemetery Abingdon, Va. Professional service and care of Mr. Wilbur Woods Jr. and family are entrusted to Birchette Mortuary & Cremation Service Inc. (423) 926-6013

I worked with Wilbur when he first started at the Med Center. He was a good friend. He was kind and gentle with the patients. They always loved him too. I retired in 1998 so I hadn´t seen Wilbur in years. He was definitely someone you´d always remember.
