Virginia Caudle Obituary

Virginia A. Fox Caudle

Virginia A. Fox Caudle, affectionately known as Gen Gen, passed away at the age of 98. Born at home in Limestone, Tennessee, on June 7, 1926, Virginia was the heart and soul of her family. She cherished time spent with her beloved daughters, Gaile Caudle, Cindi Watts (and husband Jay Watts), and Lisa Blevins (and husband David Blevins), and found immense joy in her grandchildren, Ryan Blevins, Megan Blevins, Adam Watts, and Jason Watts, her great-grandchildren, Emmy Watts and Riley Watts, and her beloved granddog, Zoe.

Gen Gen's beauty was truly timeless, reflected not only in her own grace but also in the beauty she created around her. Her home was a testament to her love for the vibrant sights of flowers, surrounded by stunning gardens she cultivated with dedication. From the carefully chosen blooms to the vibrant colors she nurtured, Gen Gen's gardens showcased her artistry and commitment to creating a beautiful, welcoming environment for all who visited.

Her kitchen was always a place of warmth and delicious aromas, where she prepared countless meals for her family, making every holiday gathering memorable. Family celebrations, especially during Thanksgiving and Christmas, were filled with love in the beautiful spaces she created. The family also treasures memories of beach trips to Myrtle Beach, filled with laughter and joy.

Her legacy of love, devotion, and the joy she found in nurturing her family and garden will forever be cherished. Per her wishes, no funeral service will be held. Those who wish to honor Gen Gen's memory are invited to make donations to Second Harvest Food Bank.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Monte Vista Memorial Park.

Mrs. Caudle was a beautiful person inside and outside. Her family was her life and it showed in her love and dedication. I know her legacy will live on in her children and grandchildren forever.

Memories are flooding me of growing up in the neighborhood and talking to your beautiful Mom as she worked in her garden and yard. What a loving, caring soul - always made me feel treasured!! Heaven must be a much happier place with her there.
Love and comfort to all of you today and always.

Lisa, Gail´s and Cindy. So sorry for your loss but it is heavens gain. God called his master gardener home. Many would say she was the most beautiful lady in Washington County and I would agree. Shared many wonderful times with her and will miss her dearly. Praying for your comfort.
Love you all,
Paul and Annette Sampson
