LIMESTONE - Troy Leaf Barnette "Poff" age 55 of Limestone TN., passed away September 17,2025 peacefully at his home place.

Troy was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. To know him was an honor. He had a passion for fishing and found joy in the simple pleasures in life. Troy took great pride in his work and was known for his kindness and generosity. Troy was a long-time employee of Miller Industry.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Carla Norton. Wonderful mother Mary Barnette. Sister Tracey Barnette.

Troy is survived by his father Dallas Barnette. Stepdaughters, Carol and Eddie Brewer and Leslie Flannery. His pride and joy his grandsons, Spencer Brewer Shawna Jaynes and Noah Brewer of Limestone, E.J and Katie Flannery of Greeneville, Eli Flannery Phoenix Thomas of Greeneville, and Storm Brewer of Chuckey. Aunts, Geneva Barnette of Duffield VA, Patsy Barnette of Gray TN, Johnnie and Joe Bitner of Chuckey, Anna Edwards of Flagler Beach FL., Margaret Arnett (Ned) of Kingsport, and Freda Graham (Shelby) of Limestone. Special cousins, Connie Barnette, Denise Grabner, and Tammy KImmery. several other cousins. Special friends Joan Cutshall, Ashley Rayon, Morgan Campbell, and Cameron Rayon.

The family would like to thank Millers Industry, Caris Healthcare team, family and friends for standing by Troy and making a positive impact at this time.

There will be no formal services at this time.
