Tracy Carver-Scott Obituary

May 11, 1974-March 21, 2024

Tracy Ann Carver-Scott, 49, of Asheville has been peacefully reunited with her loving Heavenly Father after a courageous battle against cancer. Tracy was surrounded by her children and loving family. At 8:06 am her precious mother heard her say… "I'm here mama!"

We have peace in knowing she is dancing through those streets of gold. Tracy loved the Lord and would ask you all to receive him and know him so we can all join her triumphantly one day.

She is survived by her two amazing boys Jackson Scott (19) of Asheville NC, Zachary Scott (17) of Asheville NC; her loving and devoted parents, Larry and Wanda Carver of Candler NC; sisters, Jennifer Matzke (Troy) of Matthews NC, Candace Avery (Michael) of Lexington NC; her darling nieces, Gracyn and Kylee Matzke; her sweet nephews, Madden, Mason, Gabriel Avery, and a host of wonderful and loving extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting any donations be given to her sons.

Donations can be given by: Venmo: @Wanda-Carver-1

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2pm at Glory Tabernacle Church on 1221 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, NC 28803.

What a GREAT Celebration of Life today for Tracy! I have never been to a service so inspiring!! I pray her message of 'accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior' resonates with those in attendance today and all of those who knew her. If even one soul is Saved by her faith, that will give her short life here on earth even more meaning, as she hoped it would be and as God intended. With so much negativity in this world, she was a positive and bright light. Thoughts and prayers to her sons, Jackson & Zachary, and to all her Family and numerous Friends. She will be missed, but never forgotten. All of us who Believe will see her again one day and dance, just dance....

Tracy's hilarious laugh always put a smile on my face. What an awesome sister-in-law. Loved all of the camping trips with you, Jackson and Zach. So much fun. Love you very much.
