Tony Dykes Obituary

JOHNSON CITY - Tony Allen Dykes, 61, of Johnson City, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024. He was born to the late Martin Darrell Dykes and Nellie Bruner Dykes.
Tony was employed at A.O. Smith as a press operator. He loved fishing, football and scratch-off lottery tickets.
Survivors include his sons Tony Allen Dykes, Jr., Martin Andrew Dykes (Tiffany), Benzo Benton Dykes; grandsons, Dylan Dykes, Zach Dykes, Nich Dykes, and Benton Dykes. One granddaughter Kaitlyn Dykes; great-grandson Keith Dykes; sisters Ivy Dykes, Lisa Jane Dykes, Tammy Percell (Gordon) and Brother Tom Dykes. Special friend Linda Bell and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends Monday, October 21, 2024, at Jonesborough Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00PM with the funeral to follow with Pastor Lenny Smith Officiating. A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:00AM at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

I remember the time we, both worked for A.O.Smith Times we went fishing.you were with your son's an they set down an fished with us..SO, sorry about him passing away...he was a good friend..an me, an Vivian will miss him. Respectfully, David an Vivian Gentry.
