Tommy Causey August 29, 2024

JOHNSON CITY - On Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024, Tommy Causey, age 81, Johnson City, went to his heavenly home surrounded by his family who loved and cherished him.
Tommy was born in Augusta, Georgia and was a son of the late A.H. and Ruby Robertson Causey.
He graduated from University School and attended ETSU. Tommy completed his machinist training program and worked as a foreman in a machine shop. He was a member of Watauga Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Tommy loved to garden. He enjoyed growing dahlias and lilies. Some of his happiest memories are times spent with his family on Watauga Lake.
In addition to his parents Tommy was preceded in death by his brother, Charles and sisters, Mary Allinson and Virginia Cudworth.
Survivors include his wife and soulmate of 58 years, Anne Reed Causey. They always said they were two halves of a whole. Daughters, Jill Webb (Matt) and Janet Hart (Scottie); grandchildren, Jordan Webb (Angela), Logan Webb (Kaitlyn), Kyndall Hart, and Preston Hart; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Webb and Elsie Webb. Tommy deeply loved and supported his family. His family loved, admired, and respected him. They will miss him tremendously.
The graveside service for Tommy will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in Happy Valley Memorial Park with Tim Carson, officiating. Pallbearers will be Matt Webb, Scottie Hart, Jordan Webb, Logan Webb and Preston Hart. For those who wish to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 P.M.

Special thanks to his awesome nurse Bri at JCMC ICU. Bri treated Tommy with kindness, compassion, and dignity. She went over and above to take care of Tommy and the family.
