Born: April 17, 1974 | Died: March 15, 2025
Todd Garrison Hancock, age 50, native of Stuart, FL and longtime resident of Athens, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025. He was a standout football player for McMinn Central High School, having played both offense and defense.
He is preceded in death by father: John Gary Hancock, paternal grandparents: John L. and Ruby Hancock, and his maternal grandparents: Sam Saffell, Jr and Dorothy Saffell.
Todd is survived by his wife: Heather Edmonson Hancock, a son and daughter-in-law: Seth and Cassie Hancock, a daughter: Taylor Hancock, parents: Alice Saffell Brown and Tommy Brown, sister: Jill Richey, brothers: Thomas Christopher Brown, Samuel Drew Brown and wife Natasa, along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Ziegler Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, with a Celebration of Life to follow. Brother Tim Paul will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Isaiah 117 House. Please mail an enclosed check (with McMinn County in the memo) to:
