GRAY - Terese (Scripa) Robison, 77, of Gray, passed away on March 1, 2024, at Emory University Hospital. Born and raised in Syracuse, NY, she graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University where she met and married her husband, Richard Robison (married 56 years). She stayed home to raise her two daughters, Tammy and Tracy, before returning to work as a middle school math teacher. She spent nine years living in Longview, Washington, where she enjoyed camping with the family. She later moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, and then Appleton, Wisconsin, before she and Richard retired to Gray, Tennessee, in 2006.
Terry was known to all of her family and friends as a caring and nurturing individual. She always went out of her way to be there for her loved ones and was the primary caregiver for her parents for ten years. She was a natural teacher and loved children. She enjoyed visiting Walt Disney World multiple times every year with her husband and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Carmella Scripa, and her brother, Larry Scripa.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter Tammy (Rick) Betker; daughter Tracy (Steve) Newman; grandchildren Cory Newman, Amanda Betker, Erin Newman, and Sean (Natalie) Betker; great-grandchildren Kelly, Sara, Hope, Elliot, and Leila; sister-in-law Linda Scripa; brother-in-law Harry (Shirley) Robison; niece Laura (Ed) Dilisio and family; and nephew Bill (Holly) Scripa and family.
