Terena Ford Norris April 1, 1960- June 6, 2024
GRAY - Terena Ford Norris, passed away peacefully at the age of 64 on June 6, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center. Terena was born on April 1, 1960, in Johnson City, Tennessee, to Irene Ford and the late J.D. Ford, Sr. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, her warmth radiated to all those fortunate enough to know her.
She shared a loving marriage of 45 years with her devoted husband, Tony Wayne Norris. Together, they raised their cherished son, Jonathan Norris (Natalie). Terena's spirit will be lovingly remembered by her dear mother, Irene Ford; her sisters, Teresa Henson (Mike), Lisa Brown (David), and Linda Bracken (Steve); her brothers, Anthony Ford (Chola), Jason Ford, and Junior Ford; and her brother-in-law, Timmy Norris. Terena was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Ford, Sr., her niece, Veronica Henson, her father-in-law, Tommy Norris, and her mother-in-law, Wanda Bentley.
A lifelong resident of Gray, Tennessee, Terena was a dedicated member of the Gray Freewill Baptist Church.
Terena's creativity was a beacon of inspiration, as she found joy and fulfillment in puzzles and crafts. Remembered for her loving nature and faith-filled life, her gentle spirit and enduring love will be deeply missed but never forgotten as the memories she created remain a treasure in the hearts of her family and friends.
The graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Snyder's Memorial Gardens with Pastor David Brown officiating.
