Steven Touchton Obituary

Steven Elliott Touchton passed away unexpectedly at his residence on December 16, 2024. Steven was born November 29, 1969, in Clearwater, FL. He graduated from Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk, VA. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army for a three-year stint. After serving in the Army, he served in the National Guard for eight years.
Steven graduated Magna Cum Laude from Norfolk state university with a degree in psychology. He worked as a drug addiction counselor and managed rehabilitation homes in Virginia, Maryland and Illinois.
Steven was predeceased by his father Johnny V. Touchton. He is survived by his parents Anne Boyd Frazier and Richard Frazier; his son Steven Elliott Touchton Jr.; grandchildren Audrey and Elliott; sisters Chris Frazier Kriehn, Tracy Touchton Marty, Joanne Touchton O'Brien and Laurie Touchton King; brother Damon Frazier; multiple aunts, uncles, and special uncle J. Michael Frazier, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Partners for Patriots (www.partnersforpatriots.org), an organization that provides service dogs to disabled veterans.
A funeral will be held at Erwin Presbyterian Church Friday, April 25, at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at V.A. Mountain Home Cemetery at 2 p.m.

Steven was my baby brother tho we didn't grow up together. My last memory was he visited me in Cleveland, Georgia. We had a lot of fun times together. I love you brother and I miss you.

I knew Steve through a group that many of us belonged to. I just loved Steve. I remember when he brought his service beautiful service dog Shiloh to visit me at my home. He was such a sweet and good man. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I will miss him so much.
