Stanley VanDyke Obituary
March 29, 2025
TELFORD - Stanley VanDyke, 70, of Telford, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born to Sarah (Cloyd) VanDyke and the late Raymond VanDyke. In addition to his father, Stanley was preceded in death by his sisters, Teresa Seaton, and Debbie Hodge; and one brother, Mike VanDyke. He enjoyed life to the fullest. Stanley enjoyed remodeling houses, working outside, traveling, and running around on Sunday afternoons, with Beverly.
In addition to his mother, Stanley is survived by his siblings, Kenny VanDyke (Debbie), Larry VanDyke (Jean), Jackie Vanover (Byron), Shane VanDyke (Marsha), and Hope Grindstaff (Jonathan); special friend, Beverly Deaderick; several nieces and nephews and his special pet companion, Bandit.
The VanDyke family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church - 586 Mt. Wesley Rd. Telford, TN 37690, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor John H. Moore officiating. Committal Service and Interment will be on Thursday, April 3, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Mt. Wesley United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of my dear beloved friend Stanley. We met through my job and quickly became good friends. He was such a light in my life and I will miss him everyday! I could go on about all the stories we have shared and the laughs but they are endless. You will all be in my heart and prayers and which ever sister has Bandit , last time I spoke with Stan he said "I´m not worried I know the baby is in good hands" . GOD bless and comfort you all I pray!
