JOHNSON CITY - Shirley Jo Black Lewis, age 88, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Lakebridge, a Waters Community.

Shirley was born to Grady and Rosa Black in 1936.

She was a faithful long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Shirley will always be lovingly remembered as an amazing daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.

Along with her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by: her husband, Frank Lewis Jr.; and one brother, Grady Black Jr.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include: two daughters, Karen (Terry) Conner and Connie Lewis; two granddaughters, Karey Spear and Jaime (James) Norris; two great-granddaughters, Kassidy (Vince) Woodmancy and Courtney (Gio) Ortiz; four great-great-granddaughters, Ryleigh, Adalyn, Wrenley, and Luna; one sister, Elizabeth (Orlis) Francis; one niece; and one nephew.

Her family will miss her greatly and treasure her memory.

A visitation for friends and family will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2025 in The Oak Hall at Morris-Baker Funeral Home.

The graveside service for Shirley will follow the visitation at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
