JOHNSON CITY - Mr. Ross Tutterow, 77, of Johnson City, TN, passed away Sunday morning March 3, 2024, at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Ross was the son of the late Curtis and Mable Tutterow. He graduated from McMinn High School in Athens, TN. After graduating high school, he served in the US Air Force from December of 1966 to February of 1970. When he returned to his home in Athens, he attended Tennessee Wesleyan University where he graduated with a degree in accounting. Mr. Ross Tutterow worked as an accountant until he finally found a home in 1981 with the H.T. Hackney Co. in Greeneville, TN. He had a lifelong career with the company until he retired in March of 2014.
Ross left behind a loving son, Scott Tutterow, and two beautiful granddaughters, Lily Tutterow, and Nora Tutterow.
The family of Ross Tutterow will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City. A graveside committal service will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 pm Thursday.
