JONESBOROUGH - Mr. Robert "Bob" Perry Williams, age 76, Jonesborough, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at Holston Valley Hospital after a short illness.
Bob was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 12, 1948, to the late John Ridley & Anne Hyde Williams. He was a graduate of ETSU and attended architectural school in Boston, MA. He was a member of Jonesborough Presbyterian Church.
Bob was past Chairman of the Jonesborough Heritage Alliance and served on the Historic Zoning Commission for three years; he was currently serving on the Jonesborough Planning Commission.
Survivors include his loving wife, Nansee Williams, Jonesborough; son, John Franklin Williams (Mary Kate), Unicoi; daughter, Lauren Elaine Williams Brouhard (Nick), Chattanooga; grandchildren, Sloane Williams, Ridley Williams, and Eden Brouhard; brother, Alan Williams (Marianne), Omaha, Nebraska; sister, Melissa Williams, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Joe Grandy & Larry Childress officiating.
