Richard Stoots Obituary

Richard "Ricky" Stoots, 65, passed away on April 28th surrounded by his loved ones. Ricky was born February 27, 1958, in Johnson City, TN to the late Joe and Ruth Stoots.

Ricky lived his life in Johnson City & loved his home on Stoots Hill. He retired from American Limestone/Rinker Materials where he worked for over 30 years.

Ricky was a believer and knew he was going to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his wife, Tammie Stoots, and brother-in-law, Barry Triplett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his only son, Steven Stoots; granddaughters, Makenzye (Zack) & Stephenee (Jacob); his best buddy, Lucas; two sisters, Terry (Dave) Beckman & Tyonnia Triplett; a slew of nieces & nephews, lots of friends, and his dogs Junebug & Big Foot.

Receiving of friends will be Thursday, May 4th from 5-7 pm at Strong Tower Baptist Church, 1022 Old Stage Rd Johnson City, TN 37615. A memorial service will follow with Pastor Ancel Presnell officiating.
