Richard W. Butler

March 17, 1940 -

March 20, 2025

JOHNSON CITY - Richard W. Butler, 85, of Johnson City passed away on Thursday March 20th, 2025 at Lakebridge Nursing Facility. He was born to the late Marguerite Rosala Barry and Robert Wayne Uldricks in Kalamazoo, Michigan on March 17th, 1940.

Richard enjoyed playing country and bluegrass music and riding his motorcycle. He had been Chief of Police of Kalamazoo Township, Michigan for most of his adult life. He had been an expert marksman when he served in the Army. He was proud of his service to his country. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Judy Whitcomb; a sister, Pat Smith; son and his grandchildren.

No formal services have been scheduled per his wishes
