June 22, 2025
Mr. Richard Paul Anderson, age 63, passed away Sunday June 22, 2025 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
Richard was a native of Elizabethton, TN, and the son of Paul Anderson and the Late Joyce Smith Anderson.
Richard retired from the Postal Service. He enjoyed reading, watching the news, baking, shopping, and collecting guns.
Richard was a member of Middle Creek Church Of God.
Survivors include his wife Debra Blacksten Anderson, two sons Jerry (Kim) Mosier and Chris (Tammy) Mosier; grand children Kayla (Michael) Rose, Lindsay Mosier, and Blake Mosier; great grandchild Olivia Rose; one brother Jeff (Janet) Anderson, Mother in law Susan Jones, sisters in law Paula (Kenny) Caruthers, and Diane Mezger. Last but not least, his favorite person in the world, Frances Dunbar.
Entombment will be Friday, June 27, 2025, 1:00 PM at Happy Valley Memorial Park 2708 Elizabethton Hwy. with Pastor Robert Lee Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery at 12:50 Pm.
In lieu of flowers, send donations to Middle Creek Church of God, 3505 Middle Creek Road Afton, Tn 37616.
