Randy Peters Obituary

Randy Allen Peters February 17, 1966 - August 10, 2024

GRANITE FALLS, NC - Randy Allan Peters passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, at the age of 58. Randy was born in Johnson City, TN and also lived in Lexington, KY, Apalachicola, FL and Morganton, NC. He was married to Carolyn Peters for 25 years, and they have remained best friends. Randy loved animals, playing guitar, obscure music and books, the ocean, and preparing incredible meals. His wry sense of humor and sharp wit endeared him to many. He will be deeply missed. He preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Peters. He is survived by his mother, Betty Peters of Gray, TN, his sister Debra Peters of Morganton, NC, and his best friend, Carolyn Peters. At Randy's request, there will be no public memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the charity of your choice. Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
