Randal Lynn Buck July 20, 1957 - September 11, 2024
JOHNSON CITY - Randal Lynn Buck, 67, Johnson City, passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1957 in Elizabethton. Randal was a graduate of Happy Valley High School. In earlier years, he was employed by the Carter County Sheriff Department, Unicoi County Sheriff Department where he was a Sgt. and also the Erwin Police Department. Randal also had worked at Nuclear Fuel. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by a brother: Todd Buck.
Survivors include his wife: Tammy Sutphin Buck. Two Children: Tifanie Smith and Taylor Phillips, Four Grandchildren: Rylee, Paisley, Daisy and Haileigh. His Parents: Jerry & Frances Humphreys Buck. Three Sisters: Tammy (Paul) Carroll, Melissa (Gary) Shockley and Amy (Kevin) Grindstaff. Two Brothers: Anthony (Darlene) Buck and Eric Buck. Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncle and cousins. A very special friend: Royce Sutphin, also a very special uncle: Jack (Geraldine) Humphreys.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website www. memorialfcelizabethton.com.
