Peggy Ward Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Mrs. Peggy Ward, age 86, Jonesborough, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at her residence.
Peggy was born May 5, 1937, and was the daughter of Inez Adams Baines.
She was a retired operator for Mead Paper and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Junior Ward.
Survivors include two children, Patricia Stamper (Jeff) and Jimmy Ward (Beverly); brother, Jimmy R. Baines; grandchildren, Amber Stamper, Chelsea Church (Wes), Jaima Price (Paul) and Cory Ward (Mechele); 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Maple Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Joe Beaver officiating.
Pallbearers will be friends and family.
