Pauline "Nanny" Berry Francis

JONESBOROUGH - Pauline "Nanny" Berry Francis, 82, Jonesborough, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Lakebridge, A Waters Community.

She was born in Limestone Cove and was a daughter of the late Jack and Mae Hyder Berry.

Pauline was a member of Southwestern Baptist Church. She sold Avon for many years. Pauline enjoyed gardening, canning, and cooking, especially cakes.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrill D. Francis; sisters, Rosalee Berry, Mildred McKinney; and brother, Sammy Berry.

Survivors include her daughter Lesa Brumit (Sam); granddaughter, Rebecca Potter (Seth); grandson, Joshua Brumit; great grandson, Levi Potter; brother, Paul Berry (Jewel); sister, Lona Edwards (Ronnie); sisters-in-law, Connie Tipton, Betty Price; brother-in-law, Kenneth Francis; several nieces and nephews.

The celebration of life service will be conducted on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services with Sam Brumit, officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be chosen from friends and family.
