Paul Solon Obituary

JOHNSON CITY - Paul B. Solon, age 54, of Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Paul was born in the Philippines on August 10, 1969, to Paulino Solon and Leticia Bitoon Solon. He has worked as a dedicated physical therapist since moving to the United States in 1992. Paul genuinely loved his job; he loved coming to work and seeing his patients. He was kind, selfless, compassionate, and he loved to make people laugh.

Paul was very religious but in a quiet kind of way. He loved photography, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Emma, and two dogs, Charlie and Tillie. He will be greatly missed.

Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paulino Solon and special dog, Duke.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 27 years, Emma Solon; mother, Leticia Solon; sisters, Meiko Ozanich, Limy Tojeno, Indira Solon, April Solon, and Sachiko Solon; nieces and nephews, John Hill, Kateleen Hill, and Travis John; and his special dogs, Charlie and Tillie.

Paul's family will receive friends from 8:30-10:00 am on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will commence afterwards, at 10:30 am, at St. Mary's Catholic Church (2211 E Lakeview Dr, Johnson City), under the direction of Father Dustin Collins. Following the Funeral Mass, a reception to celebrate Paul's life will commence at the church.
