Paul Markey Obituary
JONESBOROUGH - Mr. Paul Randolph Markey, age 80, of Jonesborough, passed away on October 16, 2023, at James H. Quillen Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Paul was born on July 18, 1943, to the late Joyce and Don Markey, in Buffalo, New York.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and was the owner and operator of Markey Heating and Cooling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Markey.
Survivors include daughter, Tracey DeLasAlas and spouse, Alex of Jonesborough, Tennessee; grandchildren, Nichole Travis and spouse, James of Guam, Jordan DeLasAlas and spouse, Jacquelin of Panama City, Florida, Justin DeLasAlas and spouse, Tiffany of Miami, Florida, Dylan DeLasAlas of Charleston, South Carolina, Dane Markey of Travis City, Michigan; great-grandchild, Savannah DelasAlas
A Memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home, with Pastor Randall Emmert officiating. Inurnment services will follow at 3:00 PM, at Mountain Home National Cemetery. A reception will follow the Inurnment at the Jonesborough Senior Center.
