Mrs. Patricia Rice Hall July 10, 1949 - July 28, 2024
JONESBOROUGH - Mrs. Patricia Rice Hall, age 75, Jonesborough, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Hall was born on July 10, 1949, in East Paterson, New Jersey, to the late Harold & Monica Moon. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ricky Lee Rice.
She was a long-time member of Enon Baptist Church where she served as treasurer and devoted much time to the Wednesday night children's ministry.
Mrs. Hall was a teacher and taught for 39 years in the Unicoi County school system. She was an advisor for the Beta Club and 4-H. She was also a tutor and helped with the home bound program.
Survivors include her husband, Johnny Hall; children, Christopher Rice (Julie), Eric Rice (Christine), and Cassandra "Cassie" Hall (Jonathan Figueroa); grandchildren, Caitlyn Kirkendall, Hannah Rice (Austin), Eric Rice II, Rylee Tittle, Scotty Tittle, Sarah Story, Jonathon Story; great-grandchild, Gianna Rice; siblings, Harold Moon, Thomas Moon and Barbara Gray (Billy); special friends, Brenda Johnson and Shirley Vines; several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be held at 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Murray officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM prior to the service.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Seviers Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside is asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:45 AM.
Pallbearers will be Billy Gray, Jonathon Figueroa, Greg Stanton, Brian Gray, Bradley Gray and Alex Moon. Honorary Pallbearers will be, John Vines, Marvin Ratliff and David Hammond.
